Amogh Karpe
I work on turning raw materials into useful things.
Hi, I'm Amogh.
I'm a materials scientist and engineer working on metals, advanced materials, machine learning and manufacturing.
I'm Founding Materials Engineer at Duranium, where I work on magnesium production and alloy development. I also founded British Magnesium, which is working to produce primary magnesium in the UK.
I'm building Applied Elements, exploring inverse design to develop and manufacture high-performance materials for demanding applications.
Alongside this, I'm an undergraduate studying Materials Science at the University of Oxford.
The other thing I love to do is play sport. I've played cricket at a professional level, representing SACA, Oxfordshire CCC, Oxford UCCE and SBDCC (1st Grade).
